Super rare case design with moving lugs. Medium sized case, impossible to find it nowadays. This Mercedes Benz timepiece has a modified classic three hand configuration, and is reminiscent of pocket watch designs. A hand for the hour and minute respectively, are complimented by a large, small-second sub-dial. A classical rectangular shaped, brushed stainless steel case and a slightly convex mineral crystal will safeguard your timepiece for many years to come. The deep black dial with applied stainless steel hour markers and Arabic Numeral, a vintage, classical, Mercedes Benz star logo at 12 o'clock and small second sub-dial at 6 o'clock will flatter any wrist with it's classical look. One hand each for the hours and the minutes gives you a quick view of the current time. The length of the hands was coordinated precisely to the minute markers and the indices that are located at intervals of five minutes. The edges of both the two large hands and the indices always break incident light in such a manner that there is a high contrast with the dial, so that the time can be read clearly.

The snap-on stainless steel back, makes the watch water resistant to 3 ATM. It secures on your wrist with a black fine leather band with crocodile-effect and has a new technical concept when joining with the housing , thus fitting the wrist perfectly.

It may seem a paradox, but low pressure-resistance, say at 0.5 bar equivalent to 50 cm depth is more critical to achieve, because increasing pressure tends to compress the seals, thereby increasing the resistance; the second phase test conducted at 3 bar 30 m. Because of a solid case-construction, the known brands watches will resist to 10 bar 100 m. Or 300 ft and we could confidently call it a «divers watch» 2. HOWEVER: The water resistance of a wristwatch is constantly challenged by mechanical wear caused by bumps, shocks etc.
Rapid changes in temperature, caustic acids, chemicals, etc. And can therefore not be guaranteed as a permanent condition.
