Panerai Pre Vendom 5218-203a Luminor Marina. ______________________________________ This is a beautiful Pre Vendom Panerai 5218-203a watch. The case measures 44 mm, has the Panerai patented locking crown and has a military black PVD coating that is in excellent condition. There is a small mark on the bezel at 6:00 o'clock. It is magnified in my pictures, but not very noticeable to the naked eye. I have seen very few PVD coated Panerai watches from this period that are in as fine condition as this timepiece. It comes on its original Pre Vendom tan calf strap with a sewn in Pre Vendom PVD Logo embossed buckle.
It comes in its original mohogany box with the series sticker applied on the side of the box (this is very rare). You will receive the Libretto with all the correct stampings, date, original authorized dealer and series numbers. It even has the original Pre Vendom Brass Screwdriver making this watch set complete with the exception of the light blue outer carton (which in my opinion is not important, but would be nice to have). Best of all, this watch is in fantastic condition with a wonderful black Luminor Marina Tritium painted dial. The numbers are very fat and creamy giving this watch a vintage look and feel! If you are like me, you will love the small sub second hand which gives the 203a tons of character. This model has a mechanical movement that is durable and reliable. Don't miss this opportunity.
