Although the lighter looks black it is, in fact, silver that is heavily tarnished. It is a Unique and probably dates to the 1920s. The original tarnish is in place and the condition looks good to my untrained eye. The lighter is Made in Switzerland and has US and English patents. All seems to be in working order but lacking a flint. Im not sure if the top of the snuffer is correct. Looks like a visible screw on top. Maybe the top has been replaced?
