A Silver Strike is a Limited Edition Gaming Token which is won from a special slot machine and is in a protective plastic holder. The first Silver Strikes were won from special slot machines in the Reno/Tahoe area of Nevada in 1992.

Was a prominent casino owner and operator in the downtown area of Las Vegas since the 1950's. Although he had ownership interest in many casinos in Las Vegas, he is most well known for ownership in the Plaza, Las Vegas Club, El Cortez, and Gold Spike. Fun Fact: Jackie lived at the El Cortez in his later years until he passed away at the age of 93. The Las Vegas Club was at 18 East Fremont Street, corner of Main and Fremont in the Downtown Las Vegas area.
The Overland Hotel was originally built at the site of the Las Vegas Club in the early 1900's. In 1930, the Las Vegas Club opened but was originally at the south side of Fremont Street (21-23 Fremont).
